On 17 July 2025 Green Growth Bangladesh held a Go For Green – Child Awareness Programme with school students, combining a classroom session on recycling and the environment with a sapling distribution and tree planting.
Students took part in an interactive session on how recycling saves the earth, presenting their own posters on reuse, recycling and protecting nature. Every participant then received a sapling to plant and care for at home, and the session ended with the team and students planting guava saplings together on the school grounds.
Programmes like this are at the heart of our environment and climate work: when children understand why trees, clean air and waste reduction matter, they carry that message home to their families and communities.
