Go For Green Child Awareness Programme – School 3

In the afternoon of 4 August 2025 the team continued to the third partner school for the most hands-on Go For Green session so far.

What happened

  • Drawing workshop: students worked in groups to draw trees, recycling symbols and their idea of a clean, green earth.
  • Recycling box: a classroom recycling collection box was introduced so the school can start separating waste.
  • Presentations: students presented their drawings and held up Green, Clean and Climate Action (SDG 13) placards.
  • Sapling distribution: each student received a sapling to plant at home.

Linking the activity to Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action helps students see that what they do in their own school and home is part of a global effort.
